It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Firefighter Harry Dukes. After a lengthy illness Harry passed away early Saturday morning. Harry was involved for many years, serving communities in Baldwin County, as a paramedic with Med Star from 1986-2003, he also joined the Foley Fire Department as a volunteer from 1987 to 1992. Harry joined our department in 2002 to present. After joining our department he was not only a firefighter but our CPR/First Aid training and medical supply officer. While Harry was out on medical leave, he found a way to stay involved in the department as our communications officer. Harry is survived by his parents, Harold & Sandra Dukes, his son, Samuel Dukes, two sisters, Sonya Burgett and Lynn Bird as well as two nieces and two nephews. Harry will be greatly missed - Rest In Peace Harry.
Our MissionThe Bon Secour Fire Department has the honor of providing fire protection and rescue services for the citizens of Bon Secour community and for the adjoining communities that surround us! We have Fire Engines, Tanker/Pumpers, Brush Trucks, a Rescue Truck and a Fire/Rescue Boat, any of which we use to assist us in our mission to provide for your safety!
