On January 12, 2010 the Bon Secour Fire Fighters, Asst. Chief Paul Shoenight, Fire Fighters George Hagen and Jason Thomas went to Thomasville, Alabama with the New 3500 gal. tanker to assist the Thomasville area due to the fact that freezing weather created frozen hydrant problems and an emergency water source for firefighting was needed to respond to any fires that might occur in the area!
